1 cup dried minced onion
3 Tbsp green pepper flakes
4 tsp salt

1 tsp chili powder

Combine all ingredients and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag (or jar)

Add 3 Tbsp of mix to
1 lb of browned beef
1/2 cup water
1 cup crushed tomatoes.
3 Tbsp = 1 packet of mix

Homemade Enchilada Seasoning Blend

In this Homemade Enchilada Seasoning Blend 12 different 
spices collaborate for one flavorful spice mix. Use in recipes 
like enchilada sauce, dips or as seasoning for your favorite 
protein. Yields 6 tablespoons.

Equipment Mason Jars - 250 mL - Wide

Ingredients
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons light brown sugar
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1-1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried Mexican oregano
1 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions
Combine in an airtight container or small jar. Whisk or use a fork 
to break up the brown sugar.
Store in a cool dry place for 1 to 2 years.

Beef Stew Seasoning Mix

1 cup All purpose flour
2 tsp Oregano
1 tbsp basil
2 tbsp + 1 tsp salt
1 1/2  tsp black pepper
2 tbsp +1 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tbsp + 1 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp Celery Seed
2 tbsp + 1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Rosemary

Measure all of the ingredients into a medium bowl, mixing very
well. Pour into a jar, cover & add a label with directions for use.
To use: add 2-3 Tbs of seasoning per pound of meat used.

Taco Seasoning

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Chili Powder
  • 1/4 cup Cumin Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano leaf (or oregano leaf powder)
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Himalayan salt or Sea salt (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper

Instructions
Put all in jar and shake well or mix in a food processor until mixed. Store in an airtight jar for up to six months. Makes approximately 1 cup. To use: sprinkle on ground beef or chicken as you would any store bought taco seasoning. 3 tablespoons is the same as 1 packet of store bought taco seasoning. Great for lettuce tacos.

Homemade Curry Powder

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Cumin
  • 1 tablespoon Fennel Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Fenugreek powder (optional)- gives sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons Ground Mustard Powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground Red Pepper Flakes (optional)- adds spiciness
  • 3 tablespoons ground Coriander (optional)
  • 1/4 cup ground Turmeric root
  • 1 tablespoon ground Cardamon (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cloves Powder (optional) – Adds complex flavor
Homemade Curry Powder Recipe Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, jar or food processor and store in an air-tight container until ready to use. Can be used on meats, vegetables or in soups. Especially good in with chicken, shrimp or vegetables.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Basil leaf
  • 1/2 cup Marjoram Leaf

  • 2 tablespoons Garlic Powder


Instructions

Place all herbs in a jar and shake well. Great in any Italian recipes such as Eggplant
Parmesan, Chicken Parmesan, Meatza, Grain Free Spaghetti,
Zucchini Lasagna, etc.

Rajin’ Cajun Seasoning

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Paprika
  • 1/3 cup Himalayan Salt or sea salt
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Cayenne Pepper (optional- won’t be spicy without this)
  • 2 Tablespoons Oregano Leaf
  • 1 Tablespoon Thyme Leaf
Homemade Rajin’ Cajun Seasoning Instructions
Mix all ingredients in jar or food processor and store in an airtight container. Good on stir frys, eggs, casseroles, and poultry. Can add more or less Cayenne to get to your taste.

Ranch Dressing Mix

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup dried Parsley leaf
  • 1 Tablespoon Dill leaf
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Healthy Ranch Dressing Mix Recipe Instructions
Mix all ingredients together in jar or food processor. To make into Ranch Dressing, mix 1 Tablespoon of this mix with 1/3 cup Homemade Mayonaise or Greek Yogurt and 1/4 cup Coconut Milk.

Lemon Pepper

Ingredients
  • The zest from 4-6 organic lemons (or 1/2 cup pre-dried lemon zest)
  • 6 Tablespoons ground black pepper (or whole peppercorns if you are using fresh lemon)
  • 5 Tablespoons Himalayan Salt or Sea Salt
Homemade Lemon Pepper Seasoning Recipe Instructions
If using fresh lemon Zest, thoroughly zest the lemons and spread the fresh lemon out on a baking sheet. Put into the oven on the lowest setting and leave until completely dried. Mine took about 70 minutes, but yours make take more or less time. When completely dried, mix with the peppercorns and salt in a food processor until well mixed. If making with pre-dried lemon peel, just mix all ingredients in a food processor until blended.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Chili Powder

  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin Powder
Fajita Seasoning Recipe Instructions
Mix well in bowl or jar and store in airtight container until use. Use about
1 teaspoon per chicken breast or steak when making fajitas. I use for making
Fajitas and Fajita Salads.

French Onion Soup Mix

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Onion Flakes or dehydrated onion slices
  • 2 tablespoons Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Celery Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Himalayan or sea salt (optional but helps absorption of soup)
French Onion Soup Mix Instructions
Use approximately 1/4 cup per 2 cups of beef stock to make french onion soup
(add 3-4 onions that have been very thinly sliced and slowly caramelized. To use
as a mix, you can add 1/2 cup soy-free and MSG free beef bouillon powder and
use as you would a packet of french onion soup pix (1/4 cup=1 package).
Excellent on roasts or for making french onion soup. I also use as the seasoning
for the meat in Shepherd's/Cottage Pie.

Chili Seasoning Mix

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Chili Powder
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Powder
  • 3 tablespoons Onion Powder
  • 1/4 cup Oregano
  • 2 tablespoons Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Cumin
  • 1 tablespoon Thyme
Chili Seasoning Mix Instructions
Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container. 1/4 cup of mix=1 package
of store bought chili seasoning. Great for all types of chili .

Hot Chili Powder

2 dried cayenne chilies - stemmed and seeded
4 dried ancho chilies - stemmed and seeded
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon dried Mexican oregano
Grind all ingredients to a fine powder in a blender or spice mill.
Combine spices and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag (or jar). Measure all into a
ziploc bag, seal & shake to combine. Pour into a spice jar or bottle.

Herbs de Provence

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Thyme Leaf
  • 1/4 cup Marjoram Leaf
  • 2 tablespoons of cut and sifted Rosemary Leaf
  • 2 tablespoons Savory
  • 1 teaspoon of Lavender Flowers (lightly ground-optional)
  • 2 teaspoons dried orange zest (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground Fennel

Directions
If you are zesting the orange yourself, remove the zest of one organic orange
and dry in an oven on lowest setting or a dehydrator until completely dry. Place
in a food processor with the lavender flowers and lightly pulse. Remove and mix
all ingredients in a jar or bowl until mixed (do not grind up the herbs!). Excellent
in soups, on chicken or on roasted vegetables.

Caribbean Jerk Seasoning Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Onion Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Sea Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Thyme
  • 2 teaspoons ground Allspice
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Powder (optional)
Caribbean Jerk Seasoning Recipe Instructions
Mix all ingredients together and store in airtight container. When using, it is
especially good if mixed with honey and painted on the meat.

Asian 5-Spice Seasoning

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons Anise Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground Fennel
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ground Cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Himalayan or sea salt
Asian 5-Spice Seasoning Instructions
Mix all ingredients and store in airtight container. Great for recipes like Beef and
Broccoli Stir Fry and other Asian themed cuisine.

Pumpkin Pie Spice

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground Ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons Allspice powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cloves powder (optional)
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice Instructions
  • Mix all ingredients and store in airtight container. Use as you would regular
  • pumpkin pie spice. Great in pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin pie, spiced
  • pumpkin lattes or coconut flour pumpkin muffins.

Lipton Onion Soup Mix

Create your own simple onion soup mix to have on hand for a great last minute
appetizer or for use in casseroles and other main dishes.
You'll Need:
3/4 c. Dried minced onion
1/3 c. beef bouillon granules
4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp crushed celery seed
1/4 tsp sugar
Combine all ingredients and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag (or jar).

Approximate 5 Tbs of mix = (1) envelope (1 1/4 oz)

To make onion dip:
5 Tbs. Prepared Mix
1 pint Sour Cream
Blend well, refrigerate for at least an hour.

Beefy-Minced Onion Soup Mix

Ingredients
1 ½ cups Dried minced onion (either from dehydrator or store)

⅔  cups  Beef bouillon granules

⅔  cups Onion powder

½  tsp Sugar

½  cup Dehydrated garlic slices crushed (optional if you want garlicy, beefy onion soup mix)


Mix all these ingredients together and store in an airtight container. This recipes makes about 3 cups mix.


Use 4 or 5 tablespoons when a recipe calls for one envelope mix.

Turkey Stuffing Seasoning Mix

1/2 cup celery flakes
1/2 cup parsley flakes
1/2 cup leaf sage
1/4 cup marjoram
1/4 cup savory
1/4 cup thyme
To use,
Mix 2 to 3 tablespoons Stuffing Seasoning with
2 quarts day-old bread crumbs
1 beaten egg, salt and pepper
1 small onion, chopped sautรฉed in 1/4 cup butter.
Water to desired moistness

Cream of Anything Soup Mix

Create your own Cream of "Anything" soup mix to have on hand for quick, easy
casserole style dishes, cream sauces for vegetables, breakfasts and much more!
This versatile recipe can easily be adapted to fit any recipe requiring a can of
"cream of ____" soup. . . A couple of notes BEFORE you Begin- there are a
number of different kinds of bouillon and flavorings. If you are concerned about
your sodium intake choose lower sodium bouillon granules. If you're concerned
about MSG or similar flavorings, simply choose a different brand of bouillon that
does not contain MSG.

You'll Need:
4 cups powdered milk
1 ½ cup cornstarch
1/2 cup instant chicken bouillon granules or Beef, or Vegetable (Depending on
the type of base you want to make!)
4 tsp dried onion flakes
2 tsp dried thyme
2 tsp basil - crushed dried
1 tsp freshly grated black pepper

Measure all ingredients into a Ziploc Bag. Shake well, transfer to vacuum seal
bag, seal and store up to a year. This makes the equivalent of 18 cans of Cream
of "Something" soup.
To Use: 1/3 Cup of mix to 1 Cup water
1 Tbs Butter (optional)
Combine mix, butter (optional) and cold water in a medium saucepan, whisking
gently, Cook over low/med heat until thickened.
Variations: add ½  cup minced or chopped *_________*
*Choose One or More*: Onions, Mushrooms, Asparagus, Broccoli, Celery,
Cooked Chicken, Diced Potatoes, Tomato, Cooked Shrimp, etc.
Use as you would in any Cream of "Anything" Recipe .
Please Note, Some Brands of Chicken Bouillon are Saltier than others.
We recommend a Lower sodium product

Italian Seasoning

1 ½  tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp onion powder
2 tsp oregano
1 Tbsp dried parsley
2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp pepper
¼  tsp thyme
½ tsp dried celery flakes

Shake ingredients together and store in a jar.
(It doesn’t really have to be a jar…I just really love my jars…)
Italian Dressing Mix
To make Italian salad dressing: Mix 2 Tablespoons dry mix with ¼  cup vinegar
(I prefer red wine vinegar), 2 teaspoons water and ½  cup olive oil.

Thousand Island Dressing

1 cup mayonnaise
⅓  cup ketchup
¼  cup pickle relish
1 Tbsp minced onion
1 hard boiled egg, chopped (optional)
Mix ingredients, cover and chill.



❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧
Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise, best quality such as Hellmann's or Duke's
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced (see note)
  • 1 scant teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons dried dill
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • Few dashes Tabasco sauce, optional

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk well. Taste and
  2. adjust seasoning if necessary. Chill until ready to serve.
  3. Note: The dressing will keep well in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. The garlic
  4. flavor gets stronger the longer it sits, so you might want to cut back if
  5. you're planning on making it in advance. The dressing will thicken up to
  6. more of a dip consistency as it chills.

Homemade Poppyseed Dressing
Serves: 4

Ingredients
  • ½ medium onion (preferably Vidalia)
  • 1½ c. sugar
  • 1 t. salt
  • ⅔ c. vinegar
  • 2 c. canola oil
  • 3 T. poppyseeds
Instructions
  1. In food processor or blender, add onion, sugar, salt and vinegar. Blend for a
  2. minute or until totally liquified. Slowly drizzle oil in top of blender or food
  3. processor and let blend for an additional 2 minutes to emulsify. Add in
  4. poppyseeds and then blend 30 seconds more. Can add a couple drops
  5. of red food coloring for a pretty pink color.

Ranch Dressing powder

5 heaping tbsp. dried onion
2 ½  tbsp. parsley
2 tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp. celery salt

Mix all ingredients in a mini grinder or blender.  Keep in an airtight container
( I used a canning jar).
Use 1 tbsp. of the powder with 1 cup milk and 1 cup mayo.  You can make it
thinner or thicker as you like.  for dip use and 8oz container of sour cream and
1 cup mayo.

Raspberry Vinaigrette

(Yield: About six 8-ounce jars)
4 cups raspberries
5 cups white wine vinegar, divided

Combine raspberries and 1 cup vinegar in a large glass bowl. Lightly
crush the raspberries and add remaining vinegar. Stir to combine. Cover
tightly with plastic wrap and let stand in a dark, cool place for 1 to 4 weeks,
stirring every 2 to 3 days. May be tasted weekly until the desired strength is
achieved.
Line a strainer with several layers of cheesecloth. Place over a large
stainless steel pot. Strain but do not squeeze, then discard cheesecloth and
residue.
Heat vinegar until it reaches 180° F. (see altitude adjustment chart,
page 18).
Ladle into hot jars, leave ¼-inch headspace, clean rim, place lids and
screw bands.
Place jars in prepared canner, with jars completely under water. Bring
to a boil, reduce heat to maintain gentle boil and process for 20 minutes*.
Turn off heat and remove canner lid. Allow jars to sit in canner for 5 minutes
before removing. Set jars on rack or towel out of drafts and allow to cool.
Remove screw band, label and store.
*Processing time is adjusted for an altitude between 3001 - 6000 feet.
Use this delightful vinegar to create your own flavored vinaigrette
for salads.

Allspice

Ingredients
  • nutmeg
  • cinnamon
  • cloves
Method
Mix up equal parts of these three spices, and–voila!–you have an easy-peasy
allspice alternative

Pickling Spice

Ingredients:

  • 1 cinnamon stick, broken into pieces
  • 2 dried bay leaves, crushed
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 2 Tbs. mustard seeds
  • 2 Tbs. whole coriander seeds
  • 1 Tbs. mixed peppercorns
  • 2 tsp. whole allspice
  • 2 tsp. dill seeds
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes


Directions:
In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon stick, bay leaves, cloves, mustard seeds, 
coriander seeds, peppercorns, allspice, dill seeds and red pepper flakes. Store in 
an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 year.

Celery Salt

Ingredients
  • 1 part celery seed
  • 2 parts salt

Sausage Seasoning

Ingredients

8 tbsp Sea Salt

1 cup Black Pepper
8 tbsp nutmeg
4 tbsp sage
Directions
Mix all the above ingredients together.
Add 1⅓  Tbsp to 1 lb of browned ground beef.
